College Aims

The ACPS is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and practical skills in podiatric surgery; overseeing practical training and conducting theoretical and practical examinations in podiatric surgery, leading to Fellowship with the College. 

The College has a commitment to the highest standards in public health and safety in the practice of podiatric surgery.

The ACPS is committed to the ongoing professional development of its members; sponsoring the visits of international podiatric surgeons and academics, and hosting annual conferences and training workshops.  International exchange programs supported by the ACPS allow Australian podiatric surgeons to train with colleagues around the world.

 

 

 

The Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons (ACPS) is the peak body responsible for the training, accreditation and monitoring of the practice of podiatric (foot and lower extremity) surgery in Australia. The ACPS  is affiliated with the Australasian Podiatry Council and recognised by the Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing.
